Spinal Decompression

Coyle ChiropracticDr. Coyle is proud to offer our patients affordable Spinal Decompression Therapy. This exciting therapy offers a high success rate, especially when combined with corrective chiropractic care and spinal rehabilitation. It is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment for many types of back and neck pain.

Spinal Decompression is a traction based treatment that slowly and gently stretches the spine. This gentle stretching relieves the compressive forces that create pressure on the vertebral discs and joints of the spine. It helps to relieve muscle spasm, decrease inflammation, improve flexibility and decrease pressure on the spinal nerves as they exit the spinal canal. Pressure on the spinal nerves leads to symptoms such as:
• Back and neck pain
• Pain, numbness, tingling or weakness in the legs, feet, arms or hands
• Carpal tunnel symptoms
• Shoulder pain
• Headaches

Spinal decompression was developed to conservatively and effectively treat people with:

Coyle Chiropractic • Herniated or bulging discs
• Degenerative disc disease
• Facet Syndrome
• Foraminal stenosis
• Sciatic leg pain

Spinal decompression treatments also help people with healthy discs when no explanation for their pain is found on MRI. Dr. Coyle has helped many people find relief when other types of therapies have failed to relieve their pain. The number of treatments varies, depending on your individual needs . Some patients find relief from a few treatments while others need a series of 20 or more. Factors include how long you have had the condition, degree of disc involvement, overall physical condition and life style. Spinal decompression treatment is painless in most cases and some people often fall asleep during treatment.

If you are tired of living in pain, taking pain medication, or contemplating surgery to relieve your pain, consider spinal decompression. It has helped many people to start enjoying their lives again.
